Reading For The Week

First I want to thank everyone for their prayers and love and patience. I have been laying low and riding the energies as best I can. I’m not completely back to normal, whatever that is, but feeling better physically, emotionally and spiritually. Many blessings and much love to you all! Now on to our reading:

Our reading for the week, Monday, February 11, to Sunday, February 17, 2013, is taken from the Angel Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue.

Card 1 – Four of Fire – “Contentment, peace, and abundance. A happy home life. The successful completion of a project”. We are supported and loved beyond measure. We stand at a point on our path where we can expect things to finally change for the better in all areas of our lives – family, career, life purpose and romance. We have come through some major energies over the past week and those energies have helped to position us where we need to be at this point on our journeys. Good things are on their way so don’t give up hope, remain steadfast in your power and your faith.

Card 2 – Eight of Fire – “Events moving at a fast pace. Delays are over. Many things happening at once”. There will be a period now of a lot of change. Where things seemed to be at a standstill for the past little while, they are soon going to take off in many directions. It will be important to remain centered and calm and just go with the flow. Remember that everything is changing for the highest good of all, not just a few but the whole of humanity.

Card 3 – Page of Water – “A new person enters your life. A relationship begins a new phase. Heightened psychic abilities”. As we go through the changes over the next little while, we can expect that it will also bring changes to our relationships, some people will leave our lives and new people will come into our lives. We will also begin to look at people through new eyes, the eyes of our heart and so our relationships with people will change accordingly. As the veil thins and our senses become less physical and more spiritual or psychic, we will have new insights into people and situations that will forever change how we view ourselves and our world. This will create some turbulence in our lives but again let’s try to remain centered in our hearts and see through the eyes of love.

Card 4 – Five of Water – “Things not turning out the way you’d hoped. Not seeing the positive in a situation. Crying over spilled milk”. When we are in the midst of changes it is hard to see the good in what is happening, especially if we thought things were going in a different direction then they end up. This is a time to not get too caught up in what is happening but to be grateful for all the good things we have as we let go of what needs to change or leave. Instead of looking at what is leaving or ending or changing in some way we don’t understand in the moment, we need to take stock of all the things that are still in our lives, the people, the pets, the roof over our heads, the food on the table, and so on. Now is the time to focus on those people and things that are truly important to us now. Learn to let go gracefully knowing all the while that something better will take it’s place.

Card 5 – Knight of Fire – “A sudden event that needs immediate attention. Time is of the essence. Think things through carefully”. Even though we may be in the midst of great change, this is no time to lose our focus on the important things in our lives. If something needs attending to that we have been putting off, now is the time to get that taken care of. With so many little things cropping up that all require our time and attention, perhaps we need to prioritize and tend to what is most important first. This is no time to get reckless with our time and our resources. It is a time to focus on the truly important matters and leave the rest for another day. This is not a time to get stressed over the little things that are truly not important.

This is what we will find in the days and weeks ahead, that we need to re-evaluate a lot of things in our lives, to recognize what is really important to us that requires our time and attention, and what can be let go of altogether or postponed till a later date. This is a time to de-clutter our lives on every level and keep only those things or people that are truly bringing us joy, uplifting us, and for our highest good. What no longer serves us on any level now needs to be released. Have a great week everyone!
