Our card for the day, Saturday, March 2, 2013, is taken from the Angel Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine – The Lovers/Archangel Raphael # 6 – “Intimate relationships. Carefully weigh your decisions. Good health.”
In looking at this card, Archangel Raphael is certainly the main focus of the card. He is of course the Angel of Healing and his healing green light is swirling all around the couple who are sitting before him. On his breast plate is the symbol of the caduceus which is the symbol used to represent medicine. The couple on this card actually represent Adam and Eve but if we look closely at them it is hard to tell which one is male and which one is female. In fact they could be both male or both female as much as being one male and one female. That has been done deliberately because we live in a world where there are many same sex couples, and so this couple on the card can represent any couple. The 5 fruit hanging from the tree behind the couple represent our 5 senses. Wrapped around the trunk of the tree is what appears to be a serpent. The serpent would of course represent the temptation that enters most relationships at some point.
The meaning of the number 6 is: “Don’t worry or obsess about material items, including money. Worry lowers the effectiveness of your prayers. Fortunately, the angels can answer your prayers if you ask them to.” Taken from Angel Numbers 101 by Doreen Virtue.
The message this card is giving us is that we can call on Archangel Raphael to help us heal any relationship that may be in need of healing, or we can ask him to help us with any health issues we may have as well. Archangel Raphael is also the patron of soul mates, so if we haven’t found our soul mate yet, we can call on him to help us manifest our soul mate into our lives. This card also represents making an important decision and so we are being reminded to think things through carefully before we decide. We are also reminded to ask God and the angels for help in making any important decision as well as to help with any health issues, BUT, to also let go of the worry surrounding any issue we pray for help with because our worry takes away from the effectiveness of our prayers. So remember after we pray for help, to let go and let God! Have a great day everyone!
