Card For The Day

thursept20card

Our card for the day, Saturday, March 9th, is taken from the Angel Tarot Cards, by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine – Ace of Earth – “The inflow of abundance. A promising business venture. Important documents or contracts.”

– The suit of Earth represents the material world, careers, finances, health and taking care of Mother Earth.
– The Ace is the first card of each suit and therefore represents 1. The meaning of the number 1 is: “Stay positive. Everything you are thinking about right now is coming true, so be sure that you’re only thinking about what you desire. Give any fears to God and the angels.” Taken from Angel Numbers 101 by Doreen Virtue.
– The fairy on this card is standing just outside a city that is aglow with the orange light from lighted torches against the dark of night. In her hand she holds a wand which is beginning to glow with greenish light. Around her neck is a medallion that is also emerald green in color. The black robe and tunic she wears has orange embroidery and is studded with emerald green gems.
– Black represents formality, dignity, force, convention, stability, and zero-tolerance. Black also promotes stability and protection, heals misunderstanding.
– Orange represents harmony, aspiration, sociability, contentment, and intelligence. Orange also aids in decision making, enhances cheer, confidence and assurance.
– Green represents youth, sentimentality, nature, adventure, growth and health. Green also promotes compassion and overall physical health. (http://www.whats-your-sign.com/color-meaning.html)
– Although Emerald is a stone of prosperity and riches, it is not just a materialistic stone. It also encourages spiritual growth, clear vision, memory, faith, intelligence and communication, inspiration, joy, intuition, clairvoyance, sensuality, love, romance, beauty, harmony, tranquility, serenity, clarity, cleansing, justice, friendship and unity. It seems that more kinds of physical healing have been ascribed to the emerald than to almost any other stone. (http://www.gemstonegifts.com/stones/emerald.htm)

There is no doubt that this card is all about abundance because the picture is just filled with intricate detail. But abundance doesn’t necessarily mean material abundance, it can be an abundance of love, of friends, health or truly anything in our lives. The fairy on this card knows what she wants by her stance and the earnest look on her face. She knows how to create what she desires too as shown by the wand in her hand that is glowing with energy. There is no doubt in her mind that she can create it whatever it is she desires. This is a reminder that we too need to be just as self-assured and confident in our own abilities as she is in hers. We too have the ability to create what we desire based on our thoughts and words and the passion we put behind them. Most of our thoughts and words won’t ever manifest if it’s just an idle thought or casual word, but if we put passion behind those thoughts and words, then we can rest assured that they are going to show up in our realities. That passion can be love or hate or anger, any emotion that is strong enough to to elicit passion within our hearts. Once again we are reminded by the meaning of the number 1 that we need to keep our thoughts focused on what we do want to create and not what we don’t! Stay positive and give thanks for all the good things we have in our lives, in other words our abundance, so that we draw more to be grateful for to us! Have a great day everyone!
