Card For The Day

126

Our card for the day, Thursday, April 18th, is taken from the Angel Tarot Cards – Nine of Water – “Your wish comes true! Concerns fade away. A love of life.”

The suit of Water represents the depth of our emotions. It’s where we fall in love, nurture our children, and open our hearts to deep feelings. The water cards represent love, romance, relationships, family, dreams and desires. This suit also encompasses the depths of our intuitive and psychic gifts.

The number 9 represents “Get to work, Lightworker – now! The number 9 means that you’ve completed all of the prerequisites to achieve your life purpose. Stop procrastinating, as it’s time to start taking action steps. Even baby steps are useful.”

In a reading, the Nine of Water is the best card we can get as it represents receiving all our hearts desire. Just as it says “your wish comes true”! All of the nine cups on this card are overflowing with abundance. So here we sit on the brink of getting all we ever wanted and yet there is that tiny niggling fear in the back of our minds that says to us, “what if it isn’t real? what if I’m imagining it all? I’m not sure I deserve this” and so on. Sometimes we sabotage our own success. We want the love of our lives, we want the career, the money, the house, the car and so on, but even if it’s being offered to us or standing right in front of us, we are still uncertain that it’s real, that it’s ours, that we deserve it. For most of us, and I include myself in this as well, when all that we have longed for is about to be realized, we keep it at bay. Why? Because we have been told for so long that we are not worthy, no one could love us, who do we think we are to think we can have this? Now I’m here to say who are we not to have what we long for? Here is a quote by Marianne Williamson that is my favorite:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

So when something good comes true for us, we need to receive it with open arms and accept it with gratitude because we are all worthy of having all that our hearts desire. We are not broken, we are not insignificant, we are not any of the things we have been told about ourselves, or that we have said about ourselves. We are loved, let that sink in and really hear it, WE ARE LOVED!!! I am loved, you are loved, we are all loved! We are okay, we are more than okay, we are beautiful. We are deserving of all that God or the Universe, if you prefer, wants to give us, but we have to let it in, we have to allow it to come to us. We can push it away if we want by believing we don’t deserve it, or we can open our hearts and our hands to receive all that we desire and deserve. We can stay stuck in fear or we can be love. The choice is ours.

Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~

    • Thank you for your comment Lisa, it’s a quote I have on my wall. I have read most if not all of Marianne Williamson’s books. I would love to see her in person and perhaps one day I will get that chance. Take care.
