Our card for the day, Sunday, July 21st, is taken from the Angel Tarot Cards – Ten of Water – “A content and rewarding family life. Your emotional and material needs are met. Trustworthy relationships.”
The Suit of Water represents the depth of our emotions, it’s where we fall in love, nurture our children, and open our hearts to deep feelings. Water also represents love, romance, relationships, family, dreams, and desires.
The number 10 represents – “God wants you to hold positive thoughts about this situation, as everything is working out for your highest good. Call upon God to help you stay optimistic, as your thoughts are an influencing factor in the outcome.” Taken from Angel Numbers 101 by Doreen Virtue.
This is a card we have had before, but it comes again at this time as a reminder of how what goes on in our heads is affecting the outcome of any situation. As well, what goes on in our heads affects our own vibrations so that we draw to us what is a match for our frequency. What we want and what we expect to get are often two very different things.
For example, if we want to meet our soul mate, it’s our deepest desire in life, and yet we are afraid of being hurt, then our frequency is at the level of that fear. We have walls around our hearts so high and so thick there isn’t much getting through. We arm ourselves for battle with every potential mate we meet. We are going to keep them at arms length so that we don’t get hurt again. Any new person coming into our lives who could possibly be the “one” doesn’t really stand any chance of making it because, at the first sign of anything remotely suspicious, we go into attack mode. Yep that was what we thought was going to happen, he/she betrayed us, he/she doesn’t love us, so therefore we were right to not let them get very close. Once again our worst fears were proven correct. How sad we are at times when it comes to love. Little do we know that our fears about never finding love, or being hurt or betrayed yet again, are drawing exactly that into our fields. As long as we look at any potential mate as being like the rest we have known, well that’s exactly what we are going to get.
I recently joined a dating site and it seems every dating scammer on the site is drawn to me! I kid you not! The only reason this is happening is because that is what I have come to expect on dating sites based on my own past history on these sites. I would like to think I have grown and matured spiritually beyond that but obviously I haven’t and many of us are still in that same boat. We are hoping for the right one but so afraid of attracting the wrong one that we seem to have created a self-fulfilling prophecy. Even when someone who isn’t a scammer contacts me, there is still something about the situation that is just short of being honest or is in some other way not what I was hoping for.
So now it’s back to the drawing board. It’s time to ferret out all the fears and insecurities in me that keep me attracting all that I don’t want, instead of attracting the love I do want. How do I and those of you in the same boat with me go about this? The answer to that is in the meaning of the number 10. We ask for help to get rid of our fears and doubts. We ask for help to keep our thoughts positive and expectations high when we meet someone new. If we place our focus intently on that which we hope to draw to us then, based on the law of attraction, that is what we will attract into our lives. It’s not easy to do but we have to try if we want to attract the kind of relationships that we all long for.
If we want loving and caring partners then we have to be loving and caring ourselves. If we want honesty and respect then we have to be honest and respectful ourselves. If we want a faithful and trustworthy partner then we must be faithful and trustworthy ourselves. We can’t be in a relationship and expect commitment and fidelity if we are keeping our own options open by checking out other men or women on dating sites. It’s really very simple but for some it is also very hard. So my friends, if we want to have our emotional and material needs met, have contented and rewarding family lives, and trustworthy relationships, then we have to change our thoughts, the things we think about or the way we behave so that we are a vibrational match for what we long for. Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~
