Our card/s for the day, Tuesday, September 10th (which ended up being three as 2 jumped the deck as I was shuffling), are taken from the Angel Tarot Cards:
Card 1: Eight of Air – “An illusion of being trapped. A lack of self-confidence. Afraid to take action.”
The Suit of Air represents our intellect. It’s where we make decisions, analyze situations, and give voice to our thoughts. Air is aligned with justice, truth, ideals, the legal system, communication, and other intellectual areas. (taken from the Angel Tarot Cards guidebook)
The number 8 represents: “The number 8 signifies abundance and prosperity. The endless loops in the number signify an infinite flow of money, time, ideas, or whatever else you require (especially for your life purpose).”
Card 2: King of Fire – “Focus, focus, focus! Communicate with vision, and be a leader. Advice from someone creative.”
The Suit of Fire represents our ideas and inspirations; it’s where we feel passion, display amazing creativity, and set our dreams into motion.
Card 3: Four of Water – “Missing an opportunity. Discontentment or boredom. Open your eyes to the possibilities.”
The suit of Water represents the depth of our emotions, it’s where we fall in love, nurture our children, and open our hearts to deep feelings. Water also represents love, romance, relationships, family, dreams, and desires.
The number 4 represents: “The angels are with you. They send you the number 4 to reassure you that they’ve heard your prayers and are helping you.”
If we add the two numbers on the two cards with numbers, 8 and 4, we get 12. The number 12 represents: “Keep your thoughts positive about the future, as what you are thinking influences your future. This a message to keep your faith and hope strong, because these are strong determining factors right now.”
I have been watching a couple of videos of lectures given by Gregg Braden in which he was talking about our ability to affect the world or our reality by our thoughts, feelings and emotions, so this reading is very fitting as it takes into account all three of those elements. Our first card is from the Suit of Air which represents our intellect and therefore our thoughts. The second card is taken from the Suit of Fire which represents our ideas and our passions. The third card is taken from the Suit of Water which represents our emotions. If we look further, as Gregg says, our thoughts involve the higher three chakras, our passions involve our lower three chakras and our emotions, or feelings, involve our heart chakra.
Now let’s look at the messages on the 3 cards. The Eight of Air tells us that when we are in our mind, we feel trapped by our circumstances, we lack the confidence in our own abilities to affect change, and therefore are afraid to take action. The King of Fire is asking us to feel that passion, ignite that fire inside our own bellies and focus on what it is we want to create, not only for ourselves but for the world. He is telling us to visualize what we want, because using our imaginations in that way helps to bring our creations to life. The Four of Water tells us that we are so focused on our own unhappiness that we are missing an opportunity to bring about the change/s we wish to see in our lives and in the world. We need to open our eyes to the possibilities around us, and to our own power to change what we don’t want into the love and joy and abundance and peace that we all long for.
So as Gregg says, we have the thoughts, we experience the emotions that the thoughts bring up in us, either fear or love, and than we generate the feelings in our hearts, happiness, joy, sadness, and so on. It’s the feelings in our hearts that bring those thoughts into our reality, fear based or love based, it doesn’t matter. It has been scientifically proven that our hearts have much larger magnetic and electrical fields than our brains. The electrical and magnetic fields of our hearts extend out from our bodies by miles! So what we feel in our hearts is affecting our reality in a very big way and for the most part we don’t even realize it. And because we don’t know this, we have been creating willy-nilly and can’t understand why our lives and our world is in the mess it’s in. To add insult to injury, we don’t believe that we as individuals can do anything about it. We don’t realize the effect we have on each other and on our world and even out into the universe.
We have been taught that we are insignificant particles of life floating through space on this planet, and that we have no say as to what we experience and no power to change any of it. According to Gregg, 20 books were taken out of our Bible and 25 were rearranged and stuff added or taken away. What has been found in the Dead Sea Scrolls and other ancient religious texts, tells us who and what we are and how much power we really do have! But we have been misled, we have been told differently by our educational, religious, and governmental institutions. The truth has been kept from us!
We are living in a vast field of possibilities, this energy field has been called the “Source Field” or the “Matrix”. This field of energy responds to our feelings. That is why what shows up for us is a reflection of our own state of being. If we don’t like what is showing up then we have the power to change it by changing where we place our focus, and the feelings we are expressing. We can say all the affirmations we want but if we don’t believe that we are worthy of receiving what we want, we will never get it. It comes back to feeling the feelings of what it would be like to already have what we desire, like a loving relationship, a great job, a new car, a new home and so on. I know I have said it before but I will say it again, it’s part of the training for athletes, to experience the joy of completing the race or the home run, experience the joy of victory. So if it is a relationship we are looking for, then we have to act like we already have it. Feel what it would be like to wake up in the morning with this person, to have breakfast together and so on. Some will say that it’s only pretending, but that is what the universe, the field of infinite potential, is responding to, our feelings!
So isn’t it time that we break free from our self-imposed prisons and take back the control of our own lives and become the creators we were meant to be and are? Jesus said that whatever He could do we could do too and greater! He meant that we are just as powerful as He is. We are not weak or insignificant, we were created in His image, we can do what He did and more. We are not powerless, we are all powerful! It is time to break the chains of our perceived bondage; focus our intentions, our emotions and feelings on what we want to see in our lives and in our world; and open our eyes to all the possibilities that are there for us. We are the ones we have been waiting for! Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~
