Our card for the day, Wednesday, September 11th, is taken from the Angel Tarot Cards – Release/Archangel Azrael # 13 – “The end of a phase or situation. Spiritual transformation. Time to move on.”
Archangel Azrael heals your heart when changes and losses bring about grieving. Call upon Azrael to help you move forward fearlessly and let go of the past. (Angel Tarot Cards guidebook)
The Number 13 represents: “The ascended masters (such as Jesus, Quan Yin, and so on) are with you, helping you maintain a positive outlook. The number 13 signifies that female ascended masters and goddesses are assisting you in staying positive.” (Angel Numbers 101)
As I was shuffling the deck, one card jumped out and that card is – Two of Fire – “You’ve come into your own. New partnerships or contracts. Continue to move forward.”
The Suit of Fire represents our ideas and inspirations; it’s where we feel passion, display amazing creativity, and set our dreams into motion. (Angel Tarot Cards guidebook)
The number 2 represents: “Everything is fine and will continue to be so. Keep believing, especially since your feelings of hope lead to more positive outcomes. The angels can buoy your faith if you will ask for their help.” (Angel Numbers 101)
These two cards actually complement each other. They both talk about endings and new partnerships and moving on or forward. We’ve talked a lot about changes over the past couple of readings. These changes are moving us ever forward and towards our spiritual transformation, both individually and collectively. Some of these changes have involved the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, the loss of a job or career and so on. These kinds of changes can be very hard to accept, but there comes a time when we have to let go of the past. We need to find the courage inside ourselves to begin to move forward with our lives as best we can. We may have been brought to our knees with some of the changes we have had to face, but each challenge we face makes us stronger and more able to face the next challenge. We are ever growing and evolving, again both individually and humanity as a whole. Nothing remains the same forever and change is a constant part of our lives here on this planet.
Once our grieving is over, it becomes time to look to the future, to find a new way of being in this world, to redefine ourselves in light of the changes that have occurred. What we need to remember though is that our jobs or the people in our lives or the roles we played don’t define us, not really. We are more than the job we did, we are more than someone’s husband or wife, or being a son or daughter, mother or father. Those are labels but they are not who we are, they are not who we are as a soul. Relationships and roles change over time and the labels we take on also change as a result. We need to find who we are as authentic beings aside from our relationships and roles. We need to connect with that part of us that is eternal and untouched by the changes we experience here.
The idea is not to get stuck in the past or to look too far into the future, we have to live each moment and be present right now because it’s right now that our lives have meaning. It’s what we are doing in this moment and the next that is creating our future. Doesn’t it make sense to let go of what no longer serves us, to make room for something new to manifest into that space left by whatever change we have experienced? It’s time to make room for new experiences and new people and new roles. We need to accept the changes that we face with courage and grace, and then be open to all the new possibilities waiting to manifest for us. There is a quote I have seen a couple of times that is in alignment with this reading – “Don’t look in the rear-view mirror, that’s not where you are going.” Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~
