Card For The Day

Our card for the day, Thursday, September 26th, is taken from the Angel Tarot Cards – Eight of Water – “A desire to move on. The search for something more meaningful. Spiritual and emotional growth.”

The Suit of Water represents the depth of our emotions, it’s where we fall in love, nurture our children, and open our hearts to deep feelings. Water also represents love, romance, relationships, family, dreams, and desires. (Angel Tarot Cards guidebook)

The number 8 represents: “The number 8 signifies abundance and prosperity. The endless loops in the number signify an infinite flow of money, time, ideas, or whatever else you require (especially for your life purpose).” (Angel Numbers 101)

This card says that we have grown tired of, or bored with, something in our lives. That something could be a job, a relationship, where we live, or virtually anything. We need a change of scenery, or a change of partner, or a change of career. Sometimes it’s not a drastic change that needs to be made as often a small change will do the trick. Finding a new way to connect with our partners, or redecorating a room or a move to a new home in our current city or town. Before we make any decisions, we should take a look at why we feel the way we do. Why are we bored with, or tired of, that person, place or thing?

For many of us on this spiritual path, especially if we are undergoing dramatic changes in our physical body, or our mental or emotional states, it may seem that we have outgrown many of our friends, our spouse, and even our families. We may also feel that our jobs or careers are no longer satisfying us. We look around our homes and feel they no longer reflect who we have become. For many of us, we are looking for something to change in our lives, something that will have us jumping out of bed in the morning full of gratitude and joy for a new day to BE us, to BE who we have become.

For many of us, we expected, or hoped for, major change on a global level. December 21st, 2012, came and went and it seems nothing untoward happened. It was a let down for many. However there was a major shift in energy around that date whether we are all aware of it or not. We need to remember that it takes our physical reality a little longer to reflect that change. It is happening slowly, more slowly than we would like, but it IS happening nonetheless. It needs to happen this way so that the majority of people on this planet, who have been asleep, to wake up and adjust to this very new world, this new reality we find ourselves in, to avoid mass confusion and fear. The rest of us may be chomping at the bit to get a move on already, but many of our sisters and brothers on this planet are only now realizing that something has changed, and some have yet to awaken period. We are waiting for these others to wake up and catch up before we can move forward into the lives we long to be living.

In the meantime however, we can begin to make changes in our own lives that reflect who we are in this new reality. Even though we have now entered autumn, perhaps we need to do some spring cleaning and spruce up our homes, de-clutter and get rid of things we no longer need or use, or revamp our wardrobes, or begin looking for a new career that better reflects our new values and who we have become. Perhaps it’s time to make some changes in our friends, or even our other relationships, to again align ourselves with people who also believe as we do and who allow us to be our authentic selves. If we have outgrown some of our relationships then the time has come to move on and find other like-minded people. If we see our future being in a new city or state or country, then we can get started on making that change. We will know what change is right for us by following our own intuition, our own higher guidance, and remember that we can ask for help in determining if this move, or that new job, or this new relationship, will be for our highest good.

This really is the time to start doing what is best for us, because in doing so, we allow others to also do what is best for them. It’s not being selfish because what we do for ourselves we do for all of humanity. Our staying in unhappy relationships or circumstances serves no one. If we are happy than that vibration ripples out to touch everyone in our vicinity. As we allow ourselves to be happy we give others permission to do the same. Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~
