Card For The Day

Our card for the day, Wednesday, October 9th, is taken from the Angel Tarot Cards – Release/Archangel Azrael # 13 – “The end of a phase or situation. Spiritual transformation. Time to move on.”

Archangel Azrael heals your heart when changes and losses bring about grieving. Call upon Azrael to help you move forward fearlessly and let go of the past. (Angel Tarot Cards guidebook)

The Number 13 represents: “The ascended masters (such as Jesus, Quan Yin, and so on) are with you, helping you maintain a positive outlook. The number 13 signifies that female ascended masters and goddesses are assisting you in staying positive.” (Angel Numbers 101)

The times we are finding ourselves in right now are times of great change. There is change on a global level, as well as change on a personal or individual level. These changes on the global level include uprisings and rumors of war, the collapse of governments and financial institutions, and then there are the changes in nature such as floods, tornadoes, freak storms, earthquakes, and so on. On an individual level we are faced with the ending of relationships, the loss of loved ones, the loss of jobs, the loss of homes and sometimes having to relocate to another area. These are just a few of the changes that we are all faced with and more seems to be added to them almost daily.

It can be very hard to stay focused and not get lost in all that is transpiring. It is very difficult to remain balanced and out of fear. The things that are changing, or breaking down, or ending, all have to happen because what is not of love and light, what doesn’t reflect who we truly are as we continue on our paths of spiritual transformation, individually and collectively, cannot remain. The truth that we need to face right now is that change is going to be a big part of our lives until this transformation is complete. We need to find the courage and the grace to let go of what no longer serves us individually and collectively, knowing all the while that as the old is removed, it makes way for our brand new realities. The old has to go to make room for the new. We are being asked to not cling to what needs to go or change, to release it all knowing that it served us well at the time but that it’s time is now finished.

As I was shuffling the deck one card jumped out and that card is – Six of Water – “Memories from your history or childhood. Issues regarding children. Romanticizing the past.”

The Suit of Water represents the depth of our emotions, it’s where we fall in love, nurture our children, and open our hearts to deep feelings. Water also represents love, romance, relationships, family, dreams, and desires. (Angel Tarot Cards guidebook)

The number 6 represents: “Don’t worry or obsess about material items, including money. Worry lowers the effectiveness of your prayers. Fortunately, the angels can answer your prayers if you ask them to.” (Angel Numbers 101)

This card works well with the previous one in that it deals with our emotions, and we all feel a variety of emotions when it comes to the changes that we are experiencing in our lives. But we are reminded to not focus on the past and what it seems we have lost as our spiritual transformation continues. Those changes and losses were necessary for our growth and sometimes, if not always, growth can be painful. We need to adopt the attitude of children who are so resilient when it comes to change. Perhaps we need to be more playful and have more fun. And as always we need to keep our focus on the future we are all helping to create and not on what has been lost to us. Just remember the life that awaits us on the other side of this transformation. And remember too that we are not alone, we have our angels and guides who walk this path beside us, loving us, supporting us and guiding us always. Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~
