Card for Today

Three of Air

Before I get to the reading for today I want to apologize again for not being more consistent with the readings. I seem to be having more and more of these headaches which I think are related to this chronic sinusitis that seems much worse this year, perhaps due to the severe winter weather we have experienced here this year and I know in other parts of the world as well. I know when the barometric pressure is low I tend to have more headaches. Perhaps it is also because of the continuous bombardment of solar energy as well. It seems that almost every day lately we have a solar flare or two and I know those affect all of us in varying ways. So again thank you for sticking with me throughout all of this and all I can say is I will do them as I can. Now to our reading.

Our card for today, Saturday, March 5th, is taken from the Angel Tarot Cards – Three of Air – “Great sadness. Take time to heal. The need to forgive yourself or others.”

The Suit of Air represents our intellect. It’s where we make decisions, analyze situations, and give voice to our thoughts. Air is aligned with justice, truth, ideals, the legal system, communication, and other intellectual areas. (Angel Tarot Cards guidebook)

The number 3 represents: “The ascended masters are helping you – usually this means an ascended master you feel close to – for example, Jesus, Quan Yin, a saint, or some other spiritual/religious figure.” (Angel Numbers 101)

Change seems to be the order of the day everyday lately, and sometimes this change manifests in our lives as loss – the loss of a loved one, the loss of a job, the loss of our place in the world, or the loss of anything that is important to us. There is no way out of it or around it, we must go through it and come out on the other side. We are going to be facing changes as an ongoing part of our lives for the time being. It’s going to get worse before it gets better, and the only way to deal with it is to look at it as part of the process of ascension we are all going through.

Louise Hay has a saying that might be of help during these times “Everything is perfect.” It might not seem that way as we are going through things but if we can remember in these times that everything is happening for a reason, even if we don’t know or understand what that reason is right now, then it might help us to come to terms with what is happening, even in the midst of our grief and disbelief. No one expects us to not feel the grief, the sadness, or the loss. We are after all only human, and even those of us on the path who believe that we should be constantly filled with love and joy at all times, still have to deal with those emotions. Hiding them doesn’t help and only leads to trouble down the road, sometimes in the form of illness, whether physical or emotional. It is far better to feel the sadness and let it out then to hold it in. Those emotions will pass and we will see the light again.

When we feel sad or alone, it is important to draw close to those we love, and who love us, to give and receive comfort. We are not meant to endure our suffering alone, we are meant to be with those who love us and let them care for us for a time if we need to. Yes we are strong but even the strong can have days when they feel weak and unable to go on. I know because I go through these periods myself. There is no shame in asking for help when we need it. So no matter what we are going through in our personal lives, or in the world in general, there are better days ahead. We just need to hold onto our faith and know that we are never alone, even if there are no people around us, we all have angels and guides and soul family that stay with us always, and are there to give us love, and support, and comfort too. Take heart in that and know that we are all in this together.

Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~
