Our card for today, Tuesday, May 6th, is taken from the Archangel Power Tarot Cards – Three of Ariel – “Do what you love! A time of great personal growth in your career or artistic endeavors. Working with others in a cooperative manner.”
The number 3 represents: “The ascended masters are helping you – usually this means an ascended master you feel close to – for example, Jesus, Quan Yin, a saint, or some other spiritual/religious figure.” (Angel Numbers 101)
The Suit of Ariel represents the material world. These cards deal with the daily part of living, including physical health, pursuing education and careers, and the planet on which we reside. Archangel Ariel has magical powers of manifestation, and a love of the world’s animals and the environment. (Archangel Power Tarot Cards guidebook)
Why is it so many of us are so unhappy with our jobs or careers? Perhaps it is because we chose to do something for the money we could earn and not because it was something we love to do. That’s why so many look forward to the weekends beginning Sunday night going to bed! It’s a “just get through the week and then we can relax all weekend” attitude we all share. This is not a way to live but for many of us it has become our way of life. However that is not what we came here to do or be.
If we followed our hearts and did what we love to do, regardless of how much our salary would be, then we would be happy and our needs would still be met. According to Abraham in The Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks, abundance truly has nothing to do with how much money we earn from a job. If we believe that in order to be abundant we must work hard for it then yes we will have to work hard for it. However if we desire abundance and can take that belief of having to work hard for it out of the equation, then we can still be abundant. One doesn’t depend on the other! A novel thought to be sure but one that just might be the answer to our dilemma of having to work to pay the bills. For most of us that is what we do, it’s the only reason that we work, we need money to survive.
So what is it we would all be doing if money wasn’t a motive? What would you do with your life? What kind of “work” would you be doing if, again, money wasn’t the motive for doing it? That’s the question we all should be asking ourselves. By doing what we love to do, the universe will “compensate” us for that. I have heard it said “do what you love, the money will follow”. There is actually a book by that name by Marsha Sinetar. I haven’t read it but I think that might be next on my list!
Here is a great site I also came across that has some helpful tips on how to figure out what to do with your life if you don’t already know the answer.
We aren’t here to be miserable. We came here to experience everything we can for the time allotted to us. Being miserable wasn’t part of it. We came to experience joy! So what is it that brings you joy? When you figure that out then everything else is a piece of cake!
Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~
