Our card(s) for today, Wednesday, July 30th, is taken from the Angel Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine – 14 Balance/Archangel Zadkiel – “The need for balance and moderation. Cooperation and compromise. Wait for perfect timing.”
14 represents: “Lean upon the angels to help you maintain a positive outlook. This will keep your own demeanor optimistic and bright.” (Angel Numbers 101)
Archangel Zadkiel helps you remember who you are in terms of your true spiritual heritage as a child of God. Call upon Zadkiel to increase your self-esteem and feelings of self-worth and deservedness. (Angel Tarot Cards guidebook)
We had the card “Balance” show up from another card deck just a couple of weeks ago so I won’t belabor the point except to say that we are reminded once again that we need to find balance in our lives, everything in moderation. Some of us focus on work at the expense of spending time with our families or having time to just have fun. We can be so focused on money or the lack there of and not see the abundance of other things we have in our lives, like the love of our partner, or friendships, or pets, or good health, and so on. We have to find a way to create and maintain balance in our lives and if we are having difficulty doing so, then we can call on Archangel Zadkiel to help us find that balance we need.
As I was shuffling the deck a card fell out and that card is: 15 Ego/Archangel Jophiel – “A false sense of entrapment. Being overly focused on material things. Negative or fear-based thoughts.”
15 represents: “As you go through changes in your life, stay positive. Your optimistic thoughts help you manifest the best outcomes with respect to these changes.” (Angel Numbers 101)
Archangel Jophiel is the archangel who helps us experience beautiful emotions and think beautiful thoughts. Call upon Jophiel whenever you need a boost in how you feel about yourself, your life, and the world. (Angel Tarot Cards guidebook)
This card fits nicely with the Balance card as it says that we are being overly focused on material things or that we are having negative or fear-based thoughts. When we become so focused on any one thing, it usually means that we are forgetting to see the other things in our lives. And the more we focus on one thing the chances are high that our thoughts will turn from positive thoughts around that thing to negative thoughts.
Say for example we are focused on making more money, whatever it takes we need more money. Then pretty soon all we can think of is the lack of money in our lives. And from there we find ourselves thinking of other things we also lack. It becomes a cycle of negativity and then pretty soon we begin to feel trapped by our circumstances and even our very lives.
So both these cards are here to remind us that we need to get out of our heads and change or soften our focus, so that we allow ourselves to see all the good that we have in our lives, and not be so focused on one thing at the exclusion of all else. We are never trapped by a lack of anything, we always have a way out. Remember we are the creators of our reality and what we focus on we create more of.
So let’s make an effort to take a break from the focus on lack of anything and instead see the abundance of other things we have in our lives that we should be grateful for. Then that attitude of gratitude will turn things around in our lives. As we focus on all that we have and show continuous gratitude for that, we will begin to draw to us that which we lack, except don’t see it as lack, see it as already on its way. And remember too that everything comes to us in perfect timing.
Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~
