Our card for today, Thursday, September 4th, is taken from the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms Oracle Cards by Colette Baron-Reid – 17 Sisters of the Seasons – Key Words: Cycles of growth, natural law, and Divine order.
17 represents – “The angels applaud you for staying positive and optimistic. They say that your optimism is warranted, as your affirmative thoughts are coming true. Keep up the good work, as you’re on the right path!” (Angel Numbers 101)
As we all know, there are cycles for everything, just as there are cycles for the seasons. During our time here on the earth we will find that we have periods of intense learning and growth followed by times of quietude where we absorb what was learned in the time growth.
The same is true for the cycles of intense energy that are coming into the earth over the past several years. It’s not coming all at once but in waves, so that we have time between those waves to adjust to those new energies and the changes that they bring to us on many levels, not just physically. If we received all this energy all at once, our bodies, our physical, mental, emotional, and energetic bodies would burn out very quickly. That is why they come in waves or cycles.
However much of what we experience in life also come in cycles because there is a natural law, a natural progression to the way life unfolds. When we realize that there is a cycle to life then we are better able to deal with the things that life brings to us. There is a balance, an order, to the way things ebb and flow. It is why we have ups and downs in our moods. It is why we have days of intense action and creativity followed by days of rest. There is a Divine order to all things.
This reminds me of a song, Turn, Turn, Turn by The Byrds:
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, a time to reap that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
These lyrics are taken from a song written by Pete Seeger in the late 1950s. The lyrics are adapted from the Bible (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)
So when things are slow moving, or not going our way, remember that nothing lasts forever and that given time everything changes, just like the seasons.
Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~
