Our card for today, Monday, March 28th, is taken from the Wisdom of the House of Night Oracle Cards – Rigid – “Is there a stone wall that stands between you and others? Could that wall be inside you?”
Spirit is asking us to re-evaluate our relationships with those in our lives. Perhaps we have lost family and friends because of our beliefs. Perhaps friends or neighbors walk the other way if they see us coming because we are a little “strange” or “weird”. In some cases our spirituality has made us judgmental and/or self-righteous. We tend to look down our noses at those who don’t believe as we do. We also tend to stay in groups with other individuals who do believe as we do. Spirit is asking us to put aside our strangeness or weirdness, and instead of always talking about our beliefs, to just be love.
Our task here now is to be more accepting of others no matter what their beliefs are, and that also means to accept other religious beliefs even if they differ greatly from our own. As Kryon says, there is no one “truth”, there are as many truths, or variations of the truth, as there are people on this earth. We need to relax a little and let it be okay that others don’t believe the same as we do. We can still be friends or family or lovers with people who we don’t see eye to eye with on every detail of life. We are asked to step into our mastery and instead of putting up that wall between ourselves and those who have different beliefs, can we show love and compassion for all people just as Jesus did, or any of the other masters who walked this earth?
When we can relax our rigidity and just be love in action, there will be those who will see us, and see how compassionate and loving we are in all situations, and want to be around us. Eventually they will want to know what it is we have inside us, or what we know, that allows us to be loving and compassionate, and then we can tell them what we have learned. Many of us on this spiritual journey are living our own form of separation from others who don’t believe as we do. How is that any different than one religious belief system being separate from another just because their beliefs are slightly different? I say slightly because at their core, all religious belief systems are based on love, the love of God and the love of one’s fellow man.
So if we want to see world peace between nations and between religious organizations, it is time to stop creating separation no matter the reason why. God is Love and as we are created in His image, we too are Love and Love makes no distinction between race, or culture, or religion. Love is Love and gives itself freely to all people everywhere.
Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~
