Our card for today, Friday, April 29th, is taken from the Loving Words from Jesus Card Deck – “Seek, and you shall find.” (Matthew 7:7)
These loving words from Jesus are a reminder to us that God hears our every prayer, sees our every tear and feels our pain. God is a God of love, He is LOVE, and so knowing that God is love, why would we think that if we ask God for something, or if we knock, why would He not answer, why would we think that He turns His back to our pleas and our cries? He doesn’t, but we may not understand the death of a loved one when we asked for that loved one to be healed, or the death and destruction that occurs with natural disasters, or any other thing that happens in our own lives or in the world at large.
For all things and all beings on this planet there is a greater plan, a bigger picture that we cannot see or know with our limited abilities here in the physical world. How can we know what God has in store for us if we are always impatient or turn our backs on Him because the answer that we wanted didn’t come? We have forgotten what we wrote in our blueprint for our lives before we ever incarnated on this planet. We have forgotten what experiences we wanted to have, the lessons we wanted to learn, and the way all of that would come about, with members of our soul group playing the key roles for every experience we have and every lesson we learn.
Nothing is by happenstance in this life. That is not to say that we can’t change things around, or even completely change any experience we had planned, because we do have free will. Nothing is ever carved in stone in our lives. So I will give an example from Kryon as to a lesson that was a hard one to learn for the people involved. A child was born but only lived for a short time before leaving this world again, all so that the mother would turn to God in her time of grief. This was agreed upon by both the soul of the mother and the soul of the child before either of them incarnated into this lifetime. Some lessons are hard and I’m not making light of that, but can we take a step back and know inside our hearts that there is always a greater purpose for anything that happens.
Another example Kryon gave was the earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Japan along with the loss of so many lives that day. Those souls agreed to this, or knew it was a possibility that they would die a tragic death. And what possible lesson or impact could this have on not only the people of Japan who lost loved ones that day, but on the entire planet? The compassion that this tragedy brought to the majority of the population on earth is what. The outpouring of love and prayers that was sent to the people of Japan expanded the hearts of so many people and helped to increase the light on this planet in a way that any small event could never do.
Are you beginning to see how things work and why some things happen the way they do? Even when we ask God for something and we don’t get it right away, it doesn’t mean the answer is no, it just means that the time isn’t right. Or we have asked for something specific when God intends to give us something even better, if we can just be patient and let things happen when they are meant to without putting restrictions on what God can do for us. For example, we might long for a romantic relationship, but in our minds it must be with this specific person. Well what if God has someone even better in mind for us, but now we have tied His hands so to speak, and even if the perfect person fell into our lap, we wouldn’t see them because we are so focused on it being this other person. So the point is to ask, then leg go and let God bring us our miracle in His time and in His way.
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (Matthew 7:7, 8)
Have a great weekend everyone! ~Namaste~
