Our card for today, Thursday, July 7th, is taken from The Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Cards – 47 Trust.
The number 47 represents: “The angels say that you are on the right path. Keep up the good work!” (Angel Numbers 101)
For many of us on this spiritual journey, and in truth that is all of humanity even though most are unaware that they are on a spiritual journey, we expect or believe that our path should be easy to follow and without any obstacles to overcome. How wrong that assumption is! Most of us know now that this path is in fact the road less travelled and is indeed twisting and turning, filled with many obstacles and sometimes turning back on itself, so that we may feel as if we are back to the beginning of our journey, or have at least walked this part of it before and maybe many times. However this card reminds us to trust that no matter how rocky or winding our path may be, we ARE on the right path. Even if we should take a detour from time to time, we will eventually end up back on the right path again.
So as we walk our path, we usually receive signs that we are on the right track, if we are open to receiving them. For example on this card you can see a faint shadow on the rock in the bottom left corner in the shape of the cup above the word “Trust”. That is a sign that this is the right path for this card. However the signs maybe different from one person to the next. In my case I know I’m on the right path when I see the repeat numbers like 11:11 or 4:44 or any of the other repeat numbers one might see. If I go a few days and I don’t see a repeat number, I will take a step back and look at what is going on in my life, what decisions I have made that might not be in accordance with my path, or how my emotions have been, things like that. Then I make an effort to make the necessary changes to get myself back on course. Once I am, the repeat numbers return. So keep an eye out for the signs that tell you that you are on the right path and trust that as bumpy as it might be, the right path is often the road less traveled. To close here is a poem by Robert Frost:
The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~
