Our card for today, Monday, September 12th, is taken from the Kuan Yin Oracle by Alana Fairchild – Tai Chi Rising – “Your energy field is growing stronger, with more spiritual electricity pulsing through your being. Take time to nourish your nervous system as it adjusts and be gentle with yourself as you adjust to increasing levels of spiritual potency, which gives more impact to your words, actions and thoughts.”
I don’t think I need to reiterate again how the energies on the planet are increasing and how they are affecting us. I have been posting articles here on the energies and what we can expect as I come across them. I can tell you that there have been a couple of days this past week that I could do little more than sleep, but I also find myself wanting, or maybe needing is a better word, to connect with spirit through meditation and through communing with the ancestors using my ancestral altar that I posted a photo of a short while ago. There is something so calming and peaceful about sitting quietly with candles lit and incense burning that soothes frayed nerves as well as the soul.
The only thing I will add is that we are becoming more powerful with each passing day now, and that means that our thoughts and words as well as our actions carry greater manifestation power than ever before. Because of this we must be more watchful of what we put out there into the universe. What we put out into the universe is returning to us much more quickly and so we must be sure that we are thinking and talking about positive things, how we want things to be. I remember reading about this time we are now in and how karma has a way of biting those who focus on negativity and harming others in the ass a lot faster than it has up to now. So make sure that you are only putting out there what you would like to come back to you.
So now I will leave you with the prayer for this card as it was written in the Guidebook accompanying this deck of cards.
Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~

A Prayer for Tai Chi Rising: “Through the mercy and compassion of Kuan Yin, and my own Free Will, may my energy field grow to meet the needs of my Soul light. May I be strong and merciful, powerful and wise in equal measure, may I be loving and potent with temperance and peaceful intention. Om Mani Padme Hum.”
The mantra Om Mani Padme Hum is a powerful heart-opening, consciousness-raising, peace-finding prayer of divine power. It is probably the most utilized mantra on Earth so it has a lot of group energy supporting it and those that choose to use it. It helps bring compassion and resolution to any issue. It calls on the divine power of Kuan Yin, of all beings of unconditional love, and the Divine Mother, as well as your own divine spark expression through your Soul to get on board and help resolve whatever needs to be resolved.
Saying the mantra aloud, with correct pronunciation helps increase its effectiveness in your world. Om sounds like ‘pom’ without the ‘p’, Mani sounds the same way it does in the word ‘manicure’, Padme sounds like ‘pud-may’, and Hum sounds like gum but with an ‘h’ instead of a ‘g’. Together it all means ‘the opening of the jewel in the lotus’, or in my words (the author’s words), ‘may the heart awaken with divine compassion and may I know myself to be an awakened being of light.’ (Taken from the Kuan Yin Oracle Guidebook)
I include this explanation here of how to say the mantra correctly because maybe there are some of you who like me are not familiar with many mantras. I just purchased this deck of cards yesterday and I find it to be rather synchronistic that I should find this deck because a few weeks ago I was in a Natural Health Store that also sells some crystals, incense, and similar things, and in a showcase with some crystals was a small figurine of Kuan Yin carved from wood. It was beautiful and the only one there so I bought it without even really knowing much about Kuan Yin. I have heard the name, I have even seen the mantra above in various places but again I had no idea what it meant or how to say it. Well I said it as it looks, but now I know that isn’t correct. So I hope this helps those of you who, like me, are not all that familiar with Kuan Yin, or the mantra, understand her a little more. As you can see, the cards are beautiful and I will be using them frequently in the daily readings here and for my own personal enlightenment as well. Much love to all!
