Card For Today

Pray

Our card for today, Wednesday, May 30th, is taken from the Saints & Angels Oracle Cards – Pray – “The answer to your question involves prayer.”

No matter what is going on in our lives, whether it is good or bad, we are instructed to pray. When things are good, we pray to our Heavenly Father giving thanks for all the good things in our lives He has given us. When things are bad, we pray to Him for guidance and strength to help us make it through. But the idea is that in all situations we should pray, as we are told in Ephesians 6:18 “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Or in 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

God doesn’t want us to just pray to Him when we are in need of something, He wants us to always pray to Him. He wants us to be in communion with Him all the time. Prayer doesn’t mean we have to kneel, or sit in meditation, although those things are good, we can have a conversation with God in our minds and hearts no matter where we are or what we are doing. We are meant to talk to God as we would to a dear friend and confidant. We just open our hearts to Him and say what we are feeling. So let’s take everything to the Lord in prayer and know that He hears our every word. We are all so dearly loved and not one of us walks this earth alone!

Have a great day everyone! ~Namaste~

Carolyn & My Spirit Team
